Latest reviews of Nederlands (introductie) app for iPhone and iPad

Lovely app
I like this very Much !!!
Needs major improvements
I suggest this app for studying the "Nederlands voor buitenlanders" book since it works better than the CD (It is very slow and sometimes takes a long time to pronounce some words + the UI is very bad) and can be used everywhere. I have to specify anyway that considering that the same information it contains are available in the book and in the CD, 20€ are not worth it if the quality of the app will not be increased in a soon update. This application looks like an adaptation along time of the original version just to allow it to run on newer devices. It seems clear that the performances have not been enhanced at all since the initial releases. I would suggest to the developer to rewrite the code. Many problems should be solved to make the app acceptable: - the app is too slow both while scrolling, while typing and while checking the correctness of the answers. - The navigation bar on the top disappears and makes it difficult for the user to navigate from one section to the other. For instance if we want to check how a sentence is written in section 1 and we are in section 3 we are forced to scroll all the way up and again all the way down after tapping on section 1. This is already annoying but adding the "slow and lagging scroll" it becomes awful. - the part with the 2 buttons for indicating that is possible to listen and register the voice are completely useless in that tab in the middle of the screen and annoy the user covering part of the text. They could be integrated in the menu bar once it will be kept fixed to the top. I really hope in a future update from the developer but considering how the technological side of the Delftse Methode is implemented (cd, online, app) it will take long time / not happen, unluckily.
